Well, my name is Roseanna Sunley (although you probably guessed that), and I am an online entrepreneur.
I run several websites that provide me with an income through advertising, affiliate marketing, publishing, and other general online stuff.
On this website, I document my travels and mini-adventures, sharing my stories and tips with my readers and followers along the way.
Deep down, I am a very adventurous person. I enjoy hiking up mountains, kayaking on lakes, and jumping out of airplanes!
BUT … I'm also a workaholic.
I could easily stay sat attached to my laptop for days, without ever venturing outside or talking to another human being.
Although I secretly love the solitude and being able to crack on to finish my work, I know that there is a lot more out there that I want to see and do.
So, here's a website to help encourage me (and you) to get out there and live life, rather than staring at a screen all day.
I started this blog detailing my travels around Europe, sharing some of my tips, must-sees, and must-dos.
However, in 2019 my dog, Winston, had to have a serious operation. We usually spend the summer months going on long walks and hikes, but we were unable to do that, and instead, I had to concentrate on his rehab.
Thankfully, Winston is now back to full health, and I want to make up for that lost summer!
Winston's operation also made me realise that my furry friend isn't going to be around forever, and I want to take this opportunity to take him on as many adventures as possible.
So, in a complete curveball, rather than jet setting off to international foreign lands and leaving Winston at home, we will be spending the summer of 2020 together, hiking, camping, and kayaking our way around Scotland, Wales, and The Lake District.
I hope you'll follow us and share our adventures as we explore our home here in the UK.
I hope that Winston and I can encourage you to undertake your own mini-adventures!
You don't have to go mad and undertake a solo-backpacking trip around Asia for six months! Your exciting journey could simply be a weekend away, camping somewhere out in the countryside that’s right there on your doorstep.
I'll try to help you out as much as possible, and I will share my travel tips and stories with you on this website.
